Denise Swingle, RN Owner

Hi!  I have been a Registered Nurse for 17 years, practicing in home health for the last 12 years here in the Northern Colorado area.  In 2001, Caring Hearts Home Health was founded by myself and another nurse who has since retired.  Our name is who we are as a team, and I am proud to head up such a wonderful group of professionals who have chosen to commit themselves to keeping people safe at home.

Sherri Shovlin, CFO

I started working at Caring Hearts in Oct 2001, right after I got back from my honeymoon.  My husband and I have two children, Katelyn 14 and Bode 3.  I have over 14 years experience in medical billing, coding, and accounting.  When I started with Caring Hearts 7 years ago we were in a basement office with 1 desk.  I have enjoyed being part of the growth and change here at Caring Hearts and can't wait to see what is still to come.

Adrienne Roth, RN
Director of Clinical Services

I have been a registered nurse since 1984. I have had the privilege of being part of  Caring Hearts Home Health since the beginning. The past 12 years I have worked in home health care which is where my heart is. Prior to that I worked primarily in long term care in a managerial role. It has been a satisfying and humbling experience being part of a great team which provides compassionate care and service in people's homes.

Theresa Honesto,
Office Manager

I started with Caring Hearts in 2004 as a Homemaker/Personal Care Provider.  Since then, I have been a CNA, HCBS Supervisor/Scheduler, and now Office Manager.  As Caring Hearts grows and warms the hearts of the many clients we have had the pleasure of caring for, I have grown with the company as well and seen many transitions.  I welcome more growth and changes as the years pass by and hope to be a part of the company for many years to come.

Terri Smith, HCBS Coordinator

I have worked for Caring Hearts for over a year now.  I started out as a homemaker and I have worked my way up the ladder to now hold the title of HCBS Coordinator.  I have enjoyed being a part of Caring Hearts as it has expanded it's boundaries.  I hope to continue to be a part of such a wonderful company that lives up to its name.

Glenn Ficek, PT

I have been involved with home health physical therapy since 1980 in both clinical and management positions.  My home health experience began in Portland, OR about the time Mount St. Helens erupted (May 1980).  My family and I moved to Greeley in 1988.  I came to Caring Hearts Home Health in July 2008.

The aspects of home health that I value are the freedom in scheduling according to clients' need, opportunity to help client's achieve realistic goals in their homes, and getting to know people on a personal level.
My wife, Jone, and I grew up in North Dakota.  We have 6 children including 3 by adoption.  My interests include gardening, golf, reading, and watercolor painting.

Monte Smith, PT

I graduated in 1999 from Andrews University School of Physical Therapy located in Michigan with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy.  Since then, I have worked in several different clinical settings including outpatient, acute care, skilled nursing facility, and have been with Caring Hearts for the past 5 years.  I thoroughly enjoy working in the home health environment because it offers a more personal approach to therapy.  I am able to see exactly what the patient's needs are and help develop a therapy program and strategies to assist in maintaining their function at home.

Vicky Laughlin, OT

I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy.  I have worked in many areas of OT, including rehabilitation units in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.  By working in home health care, I have the opportunity to work with people in their homes and assist them to be able to function at home.
